Guided tours for school groups

We are offering guided tours in English for school groups in the castle museum, and by request, also for the witch’s museum.
The castle museum is situated in the former living rooms in the 1st floor and since 2003 it is an exhibition about the live of Lady Gallerin.
The subject witch trial is also mentioned, because most of the styrian witch trials happened in 17th century.
We try to do the tours for children in an appropriate way and answer as many questions as possible.
But remember, today’s Riegersburg is more a fortress of the era of the wars against the Ottoman Empire, than a mediaeval castle, so there are no pitch noses or women’s chambers. And because most of our weapons are from the 16th and 17th century, we haven’t many types of armour.
